Percentage Calculation: CHSE Odisha

What should I write in the 12th board percentage? Is it with or without Extra optional? Should I calculate percentage from 1100 or 900? Should I include the 60 or 65 mark which was deducted from the total mark??

If all these questions sound familiar to you, then the next few lines would solve your problem. Yes this post is for peoples who have passed his/her intermediate on or before 2007.

If this post is relevant to you, you must have the basic idea about how we calculate percentage. Well here goes the formula.

Grand total with extra optional = EOP [Refer Mark sheet]
Grand total without extra optional = eop [Refer Mark sheet]
eop = EOP-Deduction due to Extra optional [60 or 65 depending upon 4th optional]
Then percentage = (EOP/900)*100

Fair enough!!!! But do you have any proof for such a strange way of calculation?? No: right!!!
There would be situations when you apply for any university they will ask proof for the same. No I am no way mocking. I have been questioned for several times for the same reason. So how to prove??

Okay.. Enough of suspense.. Follow the procedure below.
  • 1.       Go to the council office at Bhubaneswar. Address: Gajapati Nagar, Bhubaneshwar, OD 751013

  • 2.       Now apply for a percentage certificate at controller’s office. [Currently in 3rd floor].
  • 3.       The concerned officer will provide a date ask you to come later. Politely request them in case you want the certificate earlier. For me they agreed.
  • 4.       Collect the certificate from the office. It should display the proper percentage.

  Pasting below my certificate…

Congratulation!!!You have a proof now to claim your percentage.  Sharing is Caring.. Hit Share below for your friends.
