Last Day Note-Adios Information System.

“Sir, what is the procedure to apply for a transfer to BBSR DC?” Yes!!! It was the 1st line when I met Sirish (ECS HR then) on my very first day, after being absconded for 23 days, here at Hyderabad Infosys. And then the conversation started. Thank you so much Sirish for that 15 minute discussion (in spite of your busy schedule that day) which made me rethink of staying back here and had that not been the case, I would have definitely missed this awesome 2 year outing here with the cross section of wonderful humanity.
2 years 9 months 23 days and this morning: a long yet momentous trip of my life which made me realized and gave me strength to conquer my dream. I bow down before you for showing me the path when I was almost lost.
HYDHTC243399D: The fancy numbered desktop: Thanks for teaching me all online stuffs. “How on earth telephone bills are paid without even going to the telephone exchange?” was one of the mysterious facts for my Mom.
The Air-conditioner over my cubicle: Heartfelt thanks for maintaining the temperature throughout, sometimes I was eagerly awaiting snowfall in the middle of summer though.
Infosys dress code: I had a dream “ jab bada ho jaunga, I will always dress myself well”. Well that happened a bit seriously to me. Pressing clothes, policing shoes and what not!!! It’s really not cool when you are on the front side of a Tuk Tuk, properly dressed with a tie, polished shoes and  some lady asks “Bhai Infosys chaloge!!!” Oh God why!!!!
Building 12 : Yes!!! The bench area..Trust me, this is the block which has been helping a number of folks to realize their dreams-A life time realization. B12: I Can’t thank you enough for what have you done for me.  Smile Amrita Smile J
Hyderabad food outlets: Thanks for making me a full time cook here. How spicy all the cuisines here…Experienced for the first time when I came across a guy asking “half Kg chilies de do”. What!!! half kg!!! .  I was running out of options… and finally decided to try out cooking… then the rest was history!!! It is a learning for lifetime though J
Tuktuks and Tumtums : Safest mode of communication, believe it or not. Thanks for the ride every time I need. Loved the interior decoration with high volume Telugu, Hindi songs, posters of Number of stars (Power star, Stylish star, Mega star..and what not!!!). By the way I was wondering about twinkle twinkle little star :D
To all those One-side-lovers: You deserve my empathy mates. On a serious note, in case you have any little feeling go and express. Remember!! You already have ‘NO’ as an answer, Take the risk of getting the answer as ‘YES’. Setting computer password with his/her name@143 or googling “What to do when you don’t know what to do” will never help. Vismay and B2: Ready hoon ek thappad ke liye :P
Making someone smile: probably the one of the best feeling. Well, this was actually my last attempt to sketch a smile on your face. See you are still smiling. Keep on  J
And for those still reading this mail, this is a message for you.
Yes!!! at the end of the day outcome is important, still would suggest not to overdo things.. Do your job and leave. Your family needs you much more than a P1 ticket.
Will narrate few lines from my diary here.
Few days back I was resting on a walkway  after a morning walk (okay! don’t snigger!! I am going these days) Suddenly heard a guy shouting probably over phone…
“MOM!!! You won’t understand….” won’t understand what??She was probably the only one to understand you since you were nothing but a speechless package of flesh and bones.
I still recollect those nights before exam when I had to study late nights and end up sleeping on the table with all the notebooks scattered all over. Astonishingly in the very next morning I find myself covered with blanket on the bed with all the books arranged properly on the table, pen in pen stand, tube light turned off. Who says, Magic doesn’t happen!!!!
Respect and appreciate the unconditional love and affection. One simply doesn’t get 20-30 missed call alert during each bandh and agitation here- much earlier than we receive a formal mail in Infosys mail box.
Spend time with family and try to contribute a bit to their happiness. After all they are the reason why and how you are here. Call them up for no reasons. You can’t imagine how happy they will be hearing your voice. Go on a vacation. Tab papa le gaye the...ab it’s your turn...They deserve much more than this. Come on..To help you guys..here goes the weblink for the same. Plan accordingly!!!
Thank you Mustafa for all those quick approvals (especially for facebook and youtube ;) ) and all those gracious help whenever required.

“Aapko pata hai na ‘Kalyan’. Bahut strict hai who….”and all those scary words.. This was when I heard about him for the first time. Thanks for proving all these words wrong and being such an admirable and wonderful person throughout
J
Praveen, Srini, Mukesh: All my really nice Managers: “People Don't Leave Companies, They Leave Managers”: somewhere I read many moons ago. Thanks for being such pleasant exceptions. You are the managers I would love to work with again.
My sincere gratitude to Venkat and Laxmi for being there in the beginning. Yeshwanth bhai I know you are waiting for your name here :P.  Thanks for the snack box(the best thing which reminds me of my MOM ) every day. No matter how good you are at coding, Dear Hari, come up with a better plan when it comes to swimming: D. Madhava, I would miss all the bike rides to numerous temples here. Bhanu, You could have waited for one more week…I have learned a lot from you both Bhavani and Rudra. You have been nice teammate throughout. Would really treasure each coffee break advices from you Nandula-Life changing Words J Sharath: how cool you are. J Sasi anna: Loved the way you finish your work when no one works and mingle when everyone works rigorously. Mani: let the server be with you always and  make you smile every single day ;) Suganya,Teja,Uma: It was nice knowing you.
Meri Jaipur Team: Aakanksha, Aditya, Bhavesh, Shivam: Hope you guys enjoyed all those sessions ;).

Of Couse to my ultimate Odiya gang :Jaydev(jd),Satya,Thakur,Bikash,Tanmay,Lelin,Manas:Thanks for making me feel like home away from home. Will surely miss those outing, eating outs and weekend funs. Indeed, Birds of same feature flocks together. I was forced to include few names here. Smruti and Partha :P. but jokes apart, you guys are friends for lifetime J

No matter what, you guys have given me so much here. I will definitely cherishes each and every moment lived with you all.
And of course, Kunal and Virender (how awkward to spell your name), this ride would not be incomplete without you both. You both are the reason behind whatever little I have achieved here. Couldn’t have asked for more ..And of course yes!! You are the best things happened to me here in Infy..words wouldn’t be enough to define. Big Hug J J [okay!! am getting emotional now]
The little advice part: You step outside of your room, you will definitely find a guy more cooler, smarter, wealthier, more handsome than you... That doesn’t mean you will keep imitating them. Be yourself. You don’t need to explain anything to anyone... spend time on yourself…
”Do I look like a guy with a plan” suits only to the Joker of Dark Knight not to us… Have a GOAL in your life; which you can die for. Once this happens — everything else will fall in place-Personally Experienced! One Life – so many good things to do / achieve. You are the only thing you have — Rise to Smile !
Don’t spend on unnecessary stuffs and Don’t aspire to save much as  well. IPL team kharidna hai kya!!! Draw the line between your need and your desire. People are out there starving. Help them as much as you can. Trust me 90% of thing you want now is not at all your necessityWeb link in case you don’t believe me.
[Enough of Gyan …. Need to stop now..]
When I first came here  I had a plan. Well!!That plan didn’t work out. I came here to be a programmer and I became a student. For that I thank you- the journey from “why do you want to join Infosys?” to “why do you want to leave Infosys?” I am leaving behind everything that I have... But am taking with me everything that I am... Hope I have scripted my part well. And I owe you an apology in case I hurt you ever knowingly or un knowingly.
So the final walk in this lane…. I will miss every brick of Infosys….everyone and everything attached to it… every single memory with it….You have given me a new birth Infy. Just exactly my first school, first success, first love, first crush you will be always there deep down inside my heart till its final beat.
Goodbye, au revoir, khuda hafiz, sayonara, adios, alvida friends. Would love to cross path again. With you all each moment worth remembering  J J
Have fun. Best Life Ahead.J
